ZZ Top leader went back to the vault
The new book Rock + Roll Gearhead does a pretty good job of summing up the life and times of ZZ Top, and especially of singer-guitarist Reverend Billy F. Gibbons. The book shines a light on some of the more famous and favorite cars and instruments that have been associated with the band throughout their career, and Gibbons told us that doing the project gave him an excuse to dig down deep: [

It's a real labor love, what you see there, and it's allowed us to get back into the vault and bring out some famous pieces from ZZ Top history days." After a long run of touring this year, ZZ Top are enjoying a break from the road that will last through the holidays.
