Foo Fighters continue to breed

Dave Grohl is not the only member of Foo Fighters expecting a baby this year. Guitarist Chris Shiflett and his wife will welcome their second child into the world sometime in 2006. The frontman said, "All I know is right now my baby is one of the most hyperactive children. I mean, she's not born, but I don't even have to feel my wife's stomach anymore. I just have to watch her shirt."

Foo Fighters will undertake an acoustic tour in May. The band plans to expand its onstage lineup for the trek, taking along a violinist, a pianist and a percussionist. Dates and venues are yet to be announced.

Drummer Taylor Hawkins' side band, Taylor Hawkins And The Coattail Riders, will release its self-titled debut album on March 7th.

The latest Foo Fighters effort, In Your Honor, is nominated for five Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for the track, "Best Of You."
