Guns N' Roses singer sues car co.
Guns N' Roses vocalist Axl Rose still might not be finished with the band's long-delayed Chinese Democracy album, but he has found the time to sue a Beverly Hills auto dealership. According to the Associated Press, Axl filed suit last Thursday (January 12th) in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that Beverly Hills Classic Cars failed to deliver a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo and a 2005 Porsche GT3 to him after taking a $20,000 deposit. Rose also claimed that he commissioned the company to sell his 1999 Ferrari, but it did not pay him a promised $135,000 from the sale. The dealership did not respond to inquiries about the matter.
Axl, the sole remaining original member of Guns N' Roses, has been working on Chinese Democracy with a shifting band lineup for the better part of a decade.
Former Gn'R guitarist Slash recently said in an interview that he had heard the album was finally coming out in March, but a management spokesperson told us that no release date had been set.
