Judas Priest guitarist to release albums

Glenn Tipton will step outside Judas Priest come March for the release of two side project albums. One is an expanded reissue of his 1997 solo album Baptizm Of Fire, which includes the unheard bonus tracks "Himalaya" and "New Breed," and the other is an unreleased project called Edge Of The World. Both albums feature Tipton backed by a rhythm section of Who bassist John Entwistle and drummer Cozy Powell, whose credits include Rainbow, Black Sabbath, the Jeff Beck Group, and Emerson, Lake & Powell, among others, and keyboardist Don Airey is also included on both sets. Edge Of The World is made up of tracks recorded at the same time as Baptizm Of Fire, but which have never been released. Both albums will be released on March 7th.
