Rush guitarist proud of new DVD
If you turned on VH1 Classic on Friday, January 13th, you could have watched highlights from the new Rush DVD R-30. The cable network is saluting the band this weekend and R-30 is one of the programming highlights. That suits guitarist Alex Lifeson just fine, since he told us that he's really pleased with how the DVD came out: [

And that is one of the important things about the way we write music, and it's pretty obvious the way we play it, so I think...yeah, I'm, I'm pretty proud of the way this turned out." Besides R-30,which will be repeated on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday January 15th, VH1 Classic will also air multiple showings of the show Hangin' With that Lifeson and singer-bassist Geddy Lee did.
Rush plan to record a new studio album this year, with a tour to follow.
