Whitesnake thinking about new studio album
The Whitesnake concert DVD that was supposed to come out last year is due next month, but the band is already thinking about their next projects. In an interview posted through the official whitesnake.com website, frontman David Coverdale said, "My new team and I are also shopping for any interested partners who would like to...get involved with an excellent double CD of quite potent live material recorded over the last three years...I will also be recording three or four new Whitesnake studio songs to add to the live stuff to make it more interesting...I would like to see that released sometime in '06...and hopefully, we can find solid financing to record a whole new Whitesnake album as soon as possible...(guitarist) Doug (Aldrich) and I already have a substantial amount of new song ideas at the ready...and that's without exploring what the rest of the Snakes have up their collective sleeves." Whitesnake's last studio album was Restless Heart, which came out overseas in 1997 but was never officially released in the U.S.The Whitesnake DVD Live...In The Still Of The Night comes out February 7th.
