Bon Jovi headed to the Daytona 500

Bon Jovi will headline this year's pre-game show at the Daytona 500 race on February 19th. The annual event kicks off the 2006 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series season and will air live on NBC in America from the Daytona International Speedway.

The band is out on the road and will perform in Sunrise, Florida on Friday, February 10th. The tour continues through the spring, wrapping up on June 11th in London, England.

Meanwhile, guitarist Richie Sambora and wife Heather Locklear announced last week that they were getting divorced.

In related news, Elle magazine recently asked singer Jon Bon Jovi whether he's more worried about losing his ability to perform on stage or perform in bed. The 43-year-old frontman said, "Impotence. I could always write songs, act, get into politics or stay at home with the kids, but I've got to have some fun."
