Carlos Santana knows the secret

Carlos Santana is enjoying the success of his latest single, "Just Feel Better," featuring Aerosmith's Steven Tyler on vocals. The track appears on Santana's latest album, All That I Am, the third in a series of collaboration CDs. The guitarist told us that he keeps his music fresh by being open to all kinds of artists: "My reality tells me that all I need to do is honor someone who brings their heart to me and approach everything that they put in front of me like my first French kiss. There's a certain awkwardness. I think it's called purity and innocence. And if I bring that to everything that is front of me -- like I have to bring the same thing -- that newness, that freshness. To the point that I may look stupid. Like I don't know how to play. But that's how I like to play."

Also on the set are contributions from Michelle Branch and Los Lonely Boys, among others.

All That I Am comes on the heels of Santanas recent collaboration CDs, 1999's Supernatural and 2002's Shaman.

The guitarist will be inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame on February 25th.
