Eagles' hits album sales grow again
The top-selling album of all time just keeps on moving. The Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 has sold another million copies, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), bringing its total to 29 million since its release in 1976. The chart-topping album's 10 tracks hail from the band's first four records, preceding 1976's Hotel California. The Eagles disbanded in 1982 but came back together in 1994 for periodic tours. The group begins a European swing on May 23rd in Barcelona, Spain.
The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
The group's latest release is a concert DVD, Farewell I Tour: Live From Melbourne, which came out in 2005.
