Eric Clapton announces European tour

Eric Clapton has announced a European tour. He and his band, which includes Allman Brothers guitarist Derek Trucks, get tings started May 5th in Le Cannet, France, and there are currently 38 shows that run through July 31st in Helsinki, Finland. It was initially thought that Clapton would follow up the European tour with dates in North America, but he might wait until next year for the release of a career-spanning box set and his autobiography, which will include "every aspect of his personal and musical odyssey, addressing everything that is known and much that is not."


In addition to his solo tour, Clapton will likely play some more dates with Cream this year.
