Nickelback want relationship with fans
With five albums and a slew of smash singles behind them, Nickelback have more than enough material to fill up a headlining set every night on their latest North American tour. But bassist Mike Kroeger told us that the Canadian rockers want to be known for more than just their hits: "You kind of aspire to be that artist that just puts out a record and people just want to have it, because of the relationship with the artist. And they're not necessarily gunning for your first single, you know, so it's kind of nice flattery." Nickelback are currently on a short break before resuming its North American tour in Canada on February 15th. The band returns to the U.S. on February 20th in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The next single from its double platinum 2005 album, All The Right Reasons, is called "Savin' Me."
