Black Crowes extend acoustic tour

Singer Chris Robinson and guitarist Rich Robinson have extended their upcoming Brothers Of A Feather acoustic tour. The Black Crowes leaders have added a third and supposedly final night at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on April 26th, since ticket demand was so strong for the April 24th and 25th shows there. Also, their two-night, four-show stand in Austin, Texas, has been split up -- they've now moved the April 17th gigs to the Texas Union Theatre At The University Of Texas, but the two shows on the 18th will still be at the Cactus Cafe, as originally planned.

The Black Crowes have always included acoustic numbers in their shows, but this is the first time the Robinsons have ever done a fully acoustic tour. They plan to mix up the setlists with new material and cover songs, as well as music from their catalogue.

Every show will be recorded for possible release down the line.


Rich and Chris Robinson will reunite with the rest of the Black Crowes lineup for a show at the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on March 10th.
