Director Todd Haynes is currently in pre-production on a new Bob Dylan biopic. The film, titled I'm Not There, after an unreleased 1967 song, will begin filming in Romania this summer. Productionweekly.com reported that the film, which has Dylan's approval, will feature all-star performances by actors Colin Farrell, Richard Gere, Christian Bale, Julianne Moore, and Cate Blanchett. Haynes is best known for movies such as Velvet Goldmine and Far From Heaven. The plot features "ruminations on the life of Bob Dylan, where seven characters embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work." No release date has been announced.
