Pearl Jam announce tour dates

Pearl Jam have announced the first 14 dates of its upcoming world tour, which will begin on May 9th in Toronto, Canada. More shows will be announced soon, with venues to be revealed as well. The group is heading out on the road to support its self-titled eighth album, which arrives on May 2nd. The CD's first single, "World Wide Suicide," was made available as a free download for two days, starting on Wednesday, March 8th, at the band's official web site.

My Morning Jacket will open the first leg of the tour.
