The Highclere Rocks event, which takes place May 20th at Highclere Castle in Hampshire, England, will feature guitarist Eric Clapton, Who singer Roger Daltrey, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and former bassist Roger Waters, among others. The house band for the show includes Procol Harum singer-keyboardist Gary Brooker, Genesis and Mike + the Mechanics guitarist Mike Rutherford, and singer-keyboardist Paul Carrack, who's worked with Squeeze, Mike + the Mechanics, Ace, and others. The event is being staged by the Countryside Alliance, which works to preserve "the countryside and the rural way of life."In addition to their support for hunting, other issues the Countryside Alliance is concerned with are fishing and tax reform for rural areas.
