Billy Squier happy to wait for the right opportunity
Billy Squier has played the odd show here and there, but he hasn't done a proper tour since 2001, when he was out with Styx and Bad Company. That changes this summer, because Ringo Starr invited him to be part of this year's All-Starr Band. Squier told us that at this point in his life, he'll only consider working with people who really want to be with him: "I'm kind of taking things as they come, you know? I've gotten to a point where instead of trying to create opportunities, I kind of wait for opportunities to present themselves. I find, I find that if someone comes to me, if someone's interested in, in me, then that's usually a project I can get involved in. I've got my eyes open, but I want to do something that's, you know, that I want to do that other people want me to do, as well -- then everybody's happy."
The All-Starr Band tour gets underway June 14th in Rama, Ontario.
