Guns N' Roses add more New York shows
Guns N' Roses have added two more New York City shows to their upcoming tour itinerary, bringing its total of Big Apple appearances to four. The band will now play at Hammerstein Ballroom on May 12th and 14th, in addition to its two previously scheduled shows at the same venue on May 15th and 17th. These are the only U.S. appearances scheduled so far for the group, which counts singer W. Axl Rose as its sole original member. Tickets went on sale on Friday, April 21st and will cost fans $63, to see a band whose current lineup remains shrouded in mystery.Guns N' Roses will perform at 17 European festivals following the New York shows, beginning on May 27th in Lisbon, Portugal.
The four New York shows, if they actually happen, will mark the first concert performances by GNR since scrapping a 2002 world tour after just a few dates.
Although Rose has claimed that fans will hear new GNR music this year, the band's record label still does not have the long-delayed Chinese Democracy album on its release schedule.
