Kid Rock enjoyed CSI: NY guest spot

Kid Rock made a special guest appearance as himself on last night's (Wednesday, April 26th) episode of CSI: NY on CBS. He performed the hit "Bawitdaba" and was also part of a storyline in which his limo drive got murdered in an alley before the encore of his concert. Kid Rock said he had no hesitations about taking the role: CSI's one of the biggest shows on television. So every once and a while it's fun and try to sneak something different in the schedule between touring and recording. Plus this is something different. I get to shoot somebody. I thought that would be a neat experience."

CSI: NY airs Wednesdays at 10:00 P.M. ET and stars Gary Sinise, Eddie Cahill and others.

Rock recently released a concert album called Live Trucker.

He's made headlines this year for roughing up photographers as well as appearing in a sex tape, along with ex-Creed frontman Scott Stapp.
