Limp Bizkit feud continues online
The battle between Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and guitarist Wes Borland, apparently the band's ex-guitarist once again, has continued to rage online. Durst reportedly posted a 57-second track called "Unacceptableinterlude" at Limp Bizkit's MySpace.com page in which he slams Borland for the guitarist's recent online attacks on Durst and Bizkit's recent inactivity. In the track, Durst disses Borland's new band, Black Light Burns, and attacks Borland's character, rapping, "Stop making plans to manipulate fans and finally stick to something you believe / 'Cause you had us all fooled and, I'll admit, even me."
Borland has been saying in interviews and online that Limp Bizkit was finished, telling MTV that the group was "officially on hiatus, maybe even officially over." Black Light Burns' debut is due out later this spring.
Durst struck back, posting that Limp Bizkit is "very much alive" and calling Borland "the only person who turned his back on our family."
Borland responded that he "wasn't aware" of any plans to make a new Limp Bizkit album, which would be the follow-up to 2005's EP, The Unquestionable Truth Part 1.
Durst posted over the weekend that The Unquestionable Truth Part 2 would indeed be coming out, would be a full album, and would feature songs that Borland recorded guitar parts for.
The singer did not indicate when the album would come out or when the band would tour behind it. He added that he is currently directing his first feature film, The Education of Charlie Banks, and that Limp Bizkit would tour after it was completed.
