Lostprophets liberate new album in June
Lostprophets will release its third full-length album, titled Liberation Transmission, on June 27th. According to a press release, the Welsh group will issue "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)" as the first single from the disc in mid-May. A video for the song has already been shot in Los Angeles. The album itself was recorded in Los Angeles and on the Hawaiian island of Maui at the studio of producer Bob Rock, who has previously worked with Metallica and Motley Crue.
Liberation Transmission follows up the band's 2004 sophomore effort, Start Something, which was certified gold for sales of more than 500,000 copies.
The group's 2000 debut, The Fake Sound Of Progress, was made over the course of a week for the U.K. equivalent of roughly $4,000.
