Rodgers knows who can replace him

Paul Rodgers closed out his year-long run with Brian May and Roger Taylor on Thursday, April 13th, as the Queen + PR tour wrapped in Vancouver, British Columbia. Fans got to see Rodgers do songs made famous by the late Freddie Mercury, which might have been the hardest job in rock, and it's made him think about who could do his career justice. The singer told us that he's not going away anytime soon, but when that day comes, he knows who would be a good fit to replace him: "I think maybe Sheryl Crow could do the job. She's a great singer, she's got a lot of heart and soul, and she's a great songwriter, too. But I plan on sticking around, don't you worry!"

Rodgers has started booking solo dates, now that his schedule has opened up. His first show is May 20th in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
