Keith Richards brain surgery in dispute

A spokesperson for the Rolling Stones denies that Keith Richards is in a hospital for brain surgery, but the newspaper that broke the story insists it's true. According to the British tabloid The Sun, Richards had a hole drilled into his skull in a New Zealand hospital to help drain blood from around his brain, which is the result of his falling from a tree while on vacation in Fiji last week. However, the band's spokesperson said that while Richards was still under observation in New Zealand, he was feeling better, and no surgery was planned. The Stones are supposed to resume their world tour in Barcelona, Spain, on May 27th, and the spokesperson said no change has been made in the schedule, but a source told The Sun that Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, and Ron Wood all doubt Richards will be ready by then.
