Motley Crue bassist's wife files for divorce
Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx's wife, Donna D'Errico, has filed for divorce after nine years of marriage, according to TMZ.com. The former Baywatch star, who is claiming irreconcilable differences, wants physical custody of her five-year-old daughter with Sixx, Frankie Jean, and her 13-year-old son, Rhyan, from a previous relationship. D'Errico has also requested that she and Sixx share joint legal custody of the children, with Sixx allowed visitation rights and also footing the bill for legal costs and spousal support.
Sixx and D'Errico previously separated after four years of marriage, but D'Errico returned after Sixx spent some time in rehab.
Motley Crue recently completed a 14-month reunion tour and plans to begin recording a new studio album this month.
The Sixx-D'Errico split is the latest rock marriage to fall apart. Actress Heather Locklear recently left Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, while Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash filed for divorce from his wife Perla last week.
