Slash reportedly files for divorce

Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash has reportedly filed for divorce from his second wife, Perla, according to Undercover News. The divorce petition was submitted in Los Angeles on Thursday (April 27th). This was the second trip down the aisle for Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson. He broke up with his first wife, Renee Suran, in 1997 after a five-year marriage. Slash married Perla in 2000. The couple have two sons, a four-year-old named London and a two-year-old named Cash.

Rumors have repeatedly surfaced in recent months that Perla Hudson was involving herself heavily in her husband's career, leading to tension with other members of Velvet Revolver.

There were even reports that the band was on the verge of breaking up, or that Slash was exiting to rejoin W. Axl Rose in Guns N' Roses.

Representatives for Velvet Revolver have denied all these rumors. According to reports, the band is now in the studio recording its second album.
