Whitesnake not sure about North American tour

Whitesnake are currently on tour in Japan in support of their new DVD Live... In The Still Of The Night and greatest-hits album The Definitive Collection. Following that, the band will play across Europe from the end of this month through the beginning of August. Which begs the question -- what about North America? Singer and leader David Coverdale told us he'd like to play here, but business is really booming across the Atlantic: "My European agent is cooking, man. And of course, the more this DVD is popping out, promoters who were perhaps shy of getting involved with Whitesnake are suddenly going, 'You know what? Let me give you shitloads of money!' So, you know, Whitesnake seems to be working an awful lot this year."

The classic hair metal band played in Hiroshima on Wednesday, May 10th.
