Axl Rose released from jail
Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose was released from custody late on Tuesday after his arrest for a violent, drunken outburst at a hotel in the Swedish capital, police said.He was arrested in Sweden for violent conduct after allegedly biting a hotel security guard in the leg during a fight on Tuesday, June 27th, 2006. It was unclear what caused the fight, but Swedish tabloids said the guard tried to intervene when Rose started arguing with a woman in the hotel lobby.
Axl was freed after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor of violent conduct and criminal damage and agreeing to pay a fine of 40,000 crowns ($5,460) and 10,000 crowns in compensation to a security guard, a police spokeswoman said.
