Bob Seger says rehearsals will determine whether he tours
Don't start lining up for tickets yet, but Bob Seger is thinking about going on the road. He's previously said he didn't expect to ever mount a tour again, but while appearing on WCSX-FM in Detroit last week, Seger announced, "We're gonna rehearse in a couple of weeks, and I'm gonna see if I can do, like, two straight hours." Before you get your hopes up, Seger also said, "I don't know about the tour, because I am 61 years old."
In addition, Seger's manager Punch Andrews told the Flint, Michigan, Journal that Seger wants to start the tour on or about September 12th, which is when his new album titled Face The Promise comes out. Andrews also said the tour would only hit 21 cities -- "That would be it, period. No ifs, ands, or buts."
The first single from the album is called "Wait For Me," and it should be available in the next week or two.
