Cheap Trick guitarist ranks new album among band's best

It's not unusual to hear a musician says his latest project is special, but for Cheap Trick, it's more than just talk. The band released a new album earlier this month called Rockford, and guitarist Rick Nielsen told us that it deserves to be counted among their best ever: "It's a really good record. I think it's good stuff. You know, I...I think we've always made really good records -- I don't think we've made great records -- (and) this one is, you know, maybe Top Three, or it's Top Four of anything we've done, I think. And that's kind of cool, being that we're this far along in our career, you know?".

Cheap Trick will promote Rockford with a performance on Thursday, June 29th, on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. Their next show is on Friday, June 30th, at the Borgata Music Box in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
