New Metallica shows available to download

Metallica has made the first five shows from its current European tour available for downloading through LiveMetallica.com. According to a posting at the band's website, the rest of the European shows will be available online by the end of the week. Highlights from the first five gigs include the performance of a brand new song in Berlin, and a show in England at which the band was joined by Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell on vocals for "Nothing Else Matters." All five shows also include complete live performances of the group's classic 1986 album, Master Of Puppets.

Metallica completed its European festival run on June 17th and will play two shows in Japan and one in South Korea in mid-August.

The group is currently in the studio working on its ninth studio album, which it expects to release in the summer or fall of 2007.
