Blind Faith DVD coming in September

A DVD chronicling Blind Faith's 1969 debut performance is due in September. Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker, and Rick Grech were rock's first supergroup, and they played their first public show on June 7th, 1969, in front of 100,000 people in Hyde Park in London. The Hyde Park 1969 DVD featured the band's own music, such as "Can't Find My Way Home" and "Presence Of The Lord," along with covers including the Rolling Stones' "Under My Thumb." It also has footage of the members' earlier bands, including Cream, Traffic, and the Spencer Davis Group; a discography of their various recording projects before joining Blind Faith; and a collection of rare photos set to Blind Faith's cover of the Buddy Holly song "Well All Right." Hyde Park 1969 comes out September 19th.

Blind Faith released one album and mounted a very successful tour in 1969. However, once off the road, the members never reunited.
