Mick Jagger drops millions on new houses

Mick Jagger has reportedly dropped over $15 million on houses for his current squeeze and ex-wife. Entertainmentwise.com reported that Jagger spent over $11 million on a place for girlfriend L'Wren Scott in London's Chelsea section for the couple to crash in when they're in town. He also spent over $4 million for a new house for ex-wife Jerry Hall on the island of Mustique, rather than have her continue to use his own Stargroves mansion nearby. According to reports, Scott was unhappy at Hall having use of the house.

A source close to Jager told Britain's Daily Mail that, "Mick's life is, as ever, a juggling act. He is trying to please everyone. He wants to be as accommodating as ever with Jerry, who he still has an extremely civil relationship with."

The source added that, "He will always want her to enjoy the same standard of luxury she became used to while they were married. But L'Wren and Mick have been together for four years now and they are about as close to being a married couple as Mick is willing to get."

The singer's '60s country getaway was also named Stargroves. Some of rock's most famous albums were recorded in part there, including the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers and Exile On Main Street, the Who's Who's Next, and Led Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy and Physical Graffiti.

Jagger and Hall were married in 1990 and have four children. Their marriage was annulled in 1999.

The Rolling Stones perform on July 28th in Paris. They'll kick off their North American leg on September 20th in Foxboro, Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium.
