Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has landed a part in a Hollywood mob film called 10th And Wolf, according to Moviehole.net. The movie stars X-Men and Superman Returns cast member James Marsden as a marine who returns home and becomes immersed in his family's ties to the Mafia. The film will also feature Dennis Hopper and Val Kilmer, with Lee's exact role yet to be revealed. The movie is the directorial debut of Bobby Moresco, who won an Oscar for co-writing the screenplay of last year's Best Picture winner, Crash.Lee has had limited acting experience, playing small roles in the Tom Cruise flick Vanilla Sky and his ex-wife Pamela Anderson's TV series, VIP.
The drummer is a reality TV veteran, however, having starred in Tommy Lee Goes To College last year and appearing this summer on Rock Star: Supernova.
Rock Star has been sued by a California punk band called Supernova for infringing on their trademark by using the name.
Lee and the rest of Motley Crue are also reportedly working on a new studio album and will tour with Aerosmith this fall.
