Bob Dylan offering career-spanning set via iTunes

Bob Dylan's new album, called Modern Times, comes out one week from today, but that's not the only thing he's releasing. Also due August 29th is The Collection, which is an iTunes-only digital "box set" that has about 800 tracks, including every song from Dylan's studio and Bootleg Series albums, as well as more than 40 rarities. The exclusive collection will sell for $199.

Dylan is currently on a tour of minor league ballparks, and his next show is tomorrow (August 23rd) at First Energy Stadium in Reading, Pennsylvania.

He's also got a fall tour in the works, and people who pre-order Modern Times through iTunes will get the chance to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
