Breaking Benjamin felt the pressure on new album

After the platinum success of 2004's We Are Not Alone, there were high expectations for Breaking Benjamin as it recorded its just-released third album, Phobia. Frontman Ben Burnley told us that he felt the pressure, too: "When I was writing the record I had my platinum record hanging on the wall and I had to take it down because I had a little case of writer's block, and it was looming over my shoulder. It was like, 'You have to do as good as me!' So I took it down and just started just cleared my head up and just was like into the realization that you can only do your best."

In addition to its strong sales, We Are Not Alone also launched Breaking Benjamin's signature song, "So Cold."

The first single from Phobia is "The Diary Of Jane," which appears in two versions on initial pressings of the album.

Breaking Benjamin performs tonight (Wednesday, August 9th) at Myth in Maplewood, Minnesota.
