Breaking Benjamin frontman worries about germs

Breaking Benjamin's just-released third album is titled Phobia, mostly because of frontman Ben Burnley's numerous fears and obsessions. He is steadfastly germaphobic, but Burnley told us that he thinks that one is defensible: "The only reason I have a fear of getting sick is because if I get sick, then I don't play and that lets a lot of people down. So that phobia is warranted. That one is actually there for a reason."

Phobia was released August 8th, preceded by the single "The Diary Of Jane," which appears in two versions on the album.

Breaking Benjamin next performs on Tuesday, August 15th, in Wichita, Kansas.
