The Darkness frontman enters rehab
Justin Hawkins of the Darkness has checked himself into rehab, reports UK paper The Mirror. The tabloid says that the singer entered The Priory, a London rehab clinic, on Saturday (August 12th). The Darkness backed out of a festival in Denmark last week, on the advice of Hawkins' doctor. Hawkins has also admitted to dealing with bulimia in the past.
Bass player Frankie Poullain left the band in 2005, citing "musical differences," but later complained of problems within the band, including Hawkins' use of cocaine.
The Priory rehab center has also recently been host to Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
