Def Leppard/Journey tour re-extended
Journey and Def Leppard have one of the most successful tours this summer, and it doesn't look like they'll end it anytime soon. The bands have just added 13 shows in October, and according to the usually reliable website melodicrock.com, they'll continue on through November and into early December. The co-headlining tour started on June 23rd in Camden, New Jersey and was originally due to end August 31st, but most of the shows have been at or near sell-outs, so they keep adding more dates.Def Leppard is touring behind their covers album called Yeah! and their hit remake of the David Essex classic "Rock On."
Journey is now fronted by Jeff Scott Soto, who got the job when Steve Augeri left the band due to long-term throat issues that required total voice rest. There's been no update on Augeri's condition, and it's unknown when he might return.
