Ian Hunter says no Mott The Hoople reunion in the works for him
There seem to be rumors about a possible Mott The Hoople reunion in the UK next year, but don't plan on Ian Hunter being part of it. Hunter answers fan mail on the Horse's Mouth section of his official ianhunter.com website, and when asked recently about a Mott reunion for Britain's Glastonbury festival next year, Hunter answered "News to me." Hunter also wrote that he has no regrets about leaving the band, and that he's in contact with his former bandmates "now & again."
Hunter quit Mott The Hoople over 30 years ago and began a solo career that still continues. He's eyeballing an early 2007 release for his next album, which he's called Shrunken Heads.
