Jet confirm autumn tour dates

Jet has announced the dates and venues for a 10-city tour of North America this fall, which will launch the group's upcoming sophomore album. The trek begins on September 20th in Austin, Texas and will conclude two and a half weeks later on October 7th in Las Vegas. The quartet's second full-length effort, Shine On, arrives in stores on October 3rd.

Jet played its first live shows in nearly two years last week in its home country of Australia. The group will next appear this weekend (August 26th and 27th) at the U.K.'s annual Reading and Leeds festivals.

The first single from Shine On is called "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is."

Shine On follows the band's platinum 2003 debut, Get Born.
