Keane begins rescheduling US concerts

Keane has rescheduled two of its canceled U.S. tour dates, according to Gigwise.com. A trek slated to begin on September 7th was scrapped after frontman Tom Chaplin entered a London rehab clinic for drug and alcohol addiction. But now the group has announced that it will play in Boston on September 24th and New York on September 27th, with more dates expected to be revealed soon.

Chaplin has been spending the past weeks at London's Priory clinic, alongside fellow singers Justin Hawkins of The Darkness and Pete Doherty of Babyshambles.

Just before entering the facility, Chaplin wrote at Keane's website, "The time has come to get the professional help I need to sort myself out."

The British trio is touring behind its second album, Under The Iron Sea, which debuted at Number Four on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
