The Killers headed home for the second annual Vegoose Festival

The Killers will play the second annual Vegoose Festival, taking place in Las Vegas from October 27th through 31st at Sam Boyd Stadium and Star Nursery Field. Joining the Las Vegas-based band will be the Raconteurs, Fiona Apple, the Mars Volta, Guster, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Jurassic 5 and Widespread Panic, among others. The lineup for Vegoose At Night, an after-dark series of Sin City club shows, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Killers' second album, Sam's Town, arrives on October 3rd.

The band will perform at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards on August 31st.

Also coming up is a North American trek planned for November.
