Lynyrd Skynyrd Decades Rock Live premieres in September

The Lynyrd Skynyrd episode of the VH1 Classic series Decades Rock Live will premiere September 1st. The show was taped June 23rd in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with guests including American Idol runner-up Bo Bice, the modern rock band 3 Doors Down, and country music icon Hank Williams, Jr., who's an old friend of the Skynyrd family. The broadcast will include Skynyrd's "Red, White & Blue," which they dedicated to the men and women serving the country in uniform, and there's also a duet with 3 Doors Down on the young group's hit "Kryptonite." The broadcast will also feature a version of "Sweet Home Alabama" with Skynyrd, Bice, 3 Doors Down, and Hank Jr.

Skynyrd's next show is Sunday (August 6th) in Kelowna, British Columbia.
