Panic! At The Disco outgrowing small venues

Panic! At The Disco completed its first headlining tour last week and already has its sights set on another round of dates in the fall. This next jaunt will find the group moving into larger venues, with plans for an even bigger stage show. Guitarist Ryan Ross told us that Panic! At The Disco wants its fans to walk away feeling like they got their money's worth: "I don't know, we just all got really tired of seeing bands kind of go through the motions and get up on stage in their jeans and T-shirts and play their record and, you know, maybe they have, like, a banner as a backdrop and that's supposed to, like, satisfy people. We're not that kind of band, we want to do more and make it a lot bigger and elaborate and make it a show, and not just four dudes playing some songs."

Panic!'s first headlining trek featured costumes, circus performers, extra musicians and an elaborate stage set.

Dates and venues for the fall road trip have yet to be announced.

Panic! At The Disco is out in support of its 2005 debut disc, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.

The Las Vegas-based group also plans to take some time off before hitting the road again to work on some new songs. Ross told AOL Music, "We're trying to come up with (a) concept. I'm going to try and get all the lyrics done so that when we have our time off to write, we'll just focus on the music part of it."
