Paul McCartney's wife calls him "controlling" in counter claim
Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills has filed a angry counter claim to Paul's divorce suit. Britain's Daily Mail reported that Heather's attorney Anthony Julius, who represented Princess Diana in her divorce from Prince Charles, filed the papers that claim that Paul was a, quote, "controlling husband (who) always put his own interests above hers." Heather's claims are a direct response to Paul's statements that were made public in his divorce suit filed last month, in which he claimed that Heather showed "unreasonable behavior," and was "argumentative" and "rude to (him in front of their) staff."
The McCartneys, who were married four years ago, have a two year old daughter, Beatrice.
A source close to Heather told The Mail that, "Heather had to put up with (Paul's) sort of control freak behavior throughout the marriage... She also had to put up with the fact that he would change his plans at a whim and expect her to drop everything to be with him. He did not care that she also had work to do."
The source added that, "As far as Heather is concerned, she did not start this. Paul put in a divorce petition which shocked her and now she feels wound up and angry."
