Radiohead to issue live DVD
Radiohead will eventually release a live DVD, frontman Thom Yorke said on a BBC radio show in England. According to Gigwise.com, the singer revealed that the group will most likely issue a DVD of its performance last June at the most recent Bonnaroo festival, held in Tennessee. Yorke explained, "We did two and a half hours...It was just amazing. We played loads of new stuff. We did whole sections of quiet piano songs and it sounds like the most grotesque self-indulgent nonsense but it probably is my favorite gig for years and years and years."
Yorke added, "We're sitting on it because there's loads of new stuff on it. Because we're mean like that. (But) it will come out eventually."
Bonnaroo was considered a high point of Radiohead's summer tour of North America and Europe, which was the band's first live trek in over two years.
Radiohead has slowly been working on its next album. Yorke released his first solo effort, called The Eraser, last month.
