Ringo Starr's wife injured in horse accident

Ringo Starr's wife, actress Barbara Bach, was hospitalized on Sunday (August 27th), in Guildford, England for a broken right femur bone. The Associated Press reported that Bach, who was kicked by a horse, underwent surgery to repair the injury and is expected to make a full recovery.

Starr and Bach met in 1980 while co-starring in the slapstick comedy Caveman. They were married in April 1981, with both Paul McCartney and George Harrison attending the ceremony, which marked the first time the surviving ex-Beatles were together following the 1980 murder of John Lennon.

Bach is best remembered for her role in the 1977 James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me.
