Aerosmith frontman on sitcom

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler steps away from the mic stand for a guest appearance on the CBS sitcom Two And A Half Men on Monday, September 25th. Tyler plays the obnoxious neighbor to series lead Charlie Sheen, and the two wind up getting physical. Tyler told tvguide.com, "It is so perfect for me to live next door. Charlie is up (late one night)... and I start making fun of him. He says, 'Shut the hell up, Tyler.' He tries to beat me up, I beat him up... On another night, Charlie is out there knitting, and I beat him up (to the point where he winds up in) a neck brace. It's just too good to be true." Two And A Half Men airs at 9 p.m. ET.

Tyler did a voiceover for the show back in 2003, and he'd love to make another appearance. He said, "When we were doing the jokes, the writing was so good that when we were done with the skit, people were breaking up all over the place, dropping and dying. I had such a good time, it made me think of changing careers."

Before Tyler relocates to Hollywood, he's got more shows on the Route Of All Evil tour with Motley Crue. The bands hit Mansfield, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, September 26th.

Aerosmith's new greatest hits album, called Devil's Got A New Disguise, comes out October 17th. It's got two new songs, including the title track, which is the first single.
