Decades Rock Live sets air date
The latest edition of the VH1 Classic series Decades Rock Live, featuring Incubus and Garbage vocalist Shirley Manson in a tribute to the Pretenders, will premiere on the cable music channel on October 20th at 8 p.m. Iggy Pop and Kings Of Leon will also be on hand to honor the veteran rock band led by singer and guitarist Chrissie Hynde. Incubus will perform "Message Of Love" with the Pretenders, while Manson will sing Garbage's "Only Happy When It Rains" with the honorees.
Other highlights will include Pop teaming up with the group to sing "Fools Must Die," and the entire ensemble coming onstage for "Middle of the Road."
As with past segments, the show will also feature behind-the-scenes interviews and a look back at the featured artist's career.
The new episode was filmed on August 11th at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where the entire series has been shot.
The show, which premiered last November, pays tribute to legendary rock artists with performances from the artists themselves as well as contemporary rock and pop acts who have been inspired or influenced by them.
Previous segments have featured artists such as Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Death Cab For Cutie, 3 Doors Down and Alice In Chains paying tribute to acts like Elvis Costello, Heart and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
