Deep Purple frontman looking at extracurricular tour
Deep Purple frontman Ian Gillan recently finished up a solo tour, and now one of his bandmates is also planning some extracurricular activity. As of now, the band hasn't announced any dates between December 10th and April 20th, so guitarist Steve Morse is eyeballing a tour with his two other groups, the Dixie Dregs and the Steve Morse Band. On his official stevemorse.com website, he wrote that it could happen in January, provided everything can be worked out with the schedules of his fellow musicians.
Deep Purple is on a break from their two-year world tour in support of their latest album, called Rapture Of The Deep. They hit the road again on October 3rd on Salzburg, Austria.
