Fan captures on video U2/Green Day Abbey Road photo session
Eric Escobar captured on video Green Day/U2's impromptu photo session on the street outside London's legendary Abbey Road studios last week to re-enact the famous cover photo from the Beatles' Abbey Road album. The 3-minute video can be found at www.locopost.com
It's not yet clear whether one of the shots, taken by longtime U2 photographer Anton Corbijn, will be used on the cover of the track the bands have been collaborating on.
That song, a cover of "The Saints Are Coming" by Scottish act the Skids, was premiered on Monday, September 25th, during a live pre-game performance by both bands at the Superdome in New Orleans as part of the stadium's official reopening ceremonies.
